Today was Pearl's first bout of schooling over the fences. Knowing she could jump well from seeing her pointing and getting very good feedback from our choice jockey Rex Dingle (Who rode her in the points) we felt we had very little to worry about.
Needless to say she hadn't forgotten any of it and attacked her fences in great style. Already it looks as though she is much happier over these obstacles than the speed track hurdles.
It will very much be a stamina test on Monday all being well she does not get balloted out. I'm fairly confident in saying its not the jumping that will be the issue but more whether it is the right trip in a tough class 4, 3miles at Chepstow.
