Ibbster debrief and looking forward!

I would like to start by thanking all owners and our partners at Three Oaks racing for a great day yesterday at Taunton. We feel very honoured to have you all part of the Astral Racing team and couldn't ask for a better team.

The Debrief

We felt The Ibbster ran well for a long way before tiring 2 out, understandably against 140 rated horses on his first race back from over a year off the track. He came back without any problems and ate up. He is alert and absolutely sound, in very much good order!

We had some great feedback from David Noonan stating what we already new, up the trip and put a fence in front of him! He also could use some headgear just to keep him on task. But for now another novice race and then we will take him into chases.

Going forward

There is now racing at Exeter on Monday the 11th. It is a 2m1f but a stiff track and soft ground will be a testing affair. A local run and a handicap thereafter means we can really focus on taking our boy on to chasing.

We will keep all owners up to date as soon as we have decisive news and we hope to see you all at Exeter if that is where we head.
